Re: (Hub engine) GUI for International Draughts
Another thing I would improve - this window is weak. You should be able to open the engine and save it.

number the board fields
make a "New Game" and not a "Play Game"

Re: Swiss Tournament Programs
Sorry, I entered the score 2-0 by mistake. It should be 1-1. I'll correct it soon.Joost Buijs wrote: Fri Jun 05, 2026 15:49 What happened in the last game of round five Flits vs Plus 500? The final position is obviously a draw, did Plus 500 lose on time?

Re: (Hub engine) GUI for International Draughts
You did it very nicely. I have another question because I'm interested in it. Is it possible to change the engine name? Let me give you an example of what I mean. I have an engine Ares Al 1.91 and I would like to change the name to Ares Al 1.91 x 64. Is it possible?

Re: (Hub engine) GUI for International Draughts
For the option I marked in red - I would give an option for the number of moves.

Re: (Hub engine) GUI for International Draughts
Gijsbert, thank you for posting some of the details about how you interact with Codex. Very helpful.
I tried version 1.7 of the GUI and got tournaments running with mobydam. It turns out I had misunderstood your instructions for interfacing to mobydam and had not changed the setting of gui-send ...

Hello Krzysztof Grzelak,
In my tests here, the 6-piece endgame database downloaded directly through Dragon seems to be working normally.

Re: (Hub engine) GUI for International Draughts
At least it should be possible to play two tournaments - Swiss tournament, round-robin. Give many more options in the GUI, those I wrote about earlier.

Hi Krzysztof,
These are part of the engine configuration and is not replicated in the tournament settings (and would not apply to DXP engines anyway). The first tournamnt completed succesfully:

Re: (Hub engine) GUI for International Draughts
Hi Krzysztof,
The next version will have a tournament option. This would allow you to automatically run a tournament between engines that support the hub protocol:
